Financial Reporting Manager - 12 month FTC

Multi £bn Listed business / Hybrid working (West London) / £80-90k + Bonus & Benefits.

We are searching for a high performing and strong Technical Accountant from an audit or technical advisory background (big 4 preferred), experienced in technical accounting, reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.

This role will the a lead role in understanding and analysing impact of new accounting standards, accounting issues and changes in accounting policies on the financial performance. One direct report in wider team of 8,, sitting in the Senior Leadership team.

Accountabilities;

• Supporting Senior leadership by performing technical research, analysis and drafting technical papers where appropriate on emerging technical accounting issues.
• Reviewing analysis and explaining actual corporate financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc basis.
• Preparation of the Group Annual Report and Accounts and related Board papers.
• Manage the delivery of key departmental outputs - quarterly/half yearly: Annotated Pages; and (ii) annually: BA Group Annual Report and Accounts and subsidiary Statutory Accounts;
• Provide technical accounting advice on an ad-hoc basis to key stakeholders
• Develop a broad understanding of financial aspects of the business. Review statutory accounts for several centrally managed subsidiaries for technical and legal compliance.
• Work within and promote the internal controls environment - implement control mechanisms, monitor, review and continuously improve.
