FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ACCOUNTANT

Join Cambridge City Council as a Finance Systems Accountant and play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our financial systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our Council and make a significant impact on our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage financial systems (Technology One financials and Capita income management).
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
Provide technical support and training to system users.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
Manage financial reporting requirements for the council.
Monitor and implement system upgrades and improvements.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in managing financial systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a
team.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.
