Firm Disbursements Senior Support

We're on the lookout for a Senior Support professional to strengthen our Firm Disbursements team. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a significant impact on our disbursement processing and payments, working closely with the Team Leader to ensure a seamless transition and enhance our financial operations.

What You'll Do:

• Handle day-to-day processing and payment of Firm disbursement invoices, using Chrome River and 3E, and escalate issues as needed.

• Manage the upload process for bulk invoices, ensuring accurate reconciliation and addressing unreferenced entries.

• Recharge disbursements to matters accurately and timely, and perform related balance sheet reconciliations.

• Request and reconcile supplier statements, addressing and escalating issues appropriately.

• Conduct reviews of aged vendors to close balances and deactivate accounts where necessary.

• Resolve pending disbursement invoice issues in collaboration with the business.

• Set up new vendors on the Chrome River system and provide support and training to junior team members.

• Manage credit card and petty cash statements/balances and ensure accurate postings and reconciliations.

Who We're Looking For:

• Someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in Firm Disbursements or Accounts Payable, with a keen interest in process improvement.

• Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rule is desirable.

• A confident stakeholder manager, able to engage and influence at all levels.

• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing competing deadlines under pressure.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suites, with a basic understanding of VAT rules and regulations.
