Job Summary

We are currently seeking to recruit a Fleet Logistic Specialist at Stellantis UK in Coventry for a fixed term of 9 months.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the Logistics and Distribution team assisting in the management of 2x dedicated fleet processing hubs alongside direct logistics to major B2B and converter customers via the other UK compounds, supporting the achievement of departmental objectives and overall business goals.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of inflow and outflow of vehicles from the Stellantis Fleet Processing Hubs ensuring the business clearly understands the volumes of vehicles stored, the current status of vehicles and the provision of services
  • Ensure vehicles stored at the fleet hub are animated to flow i.e. each vehicle is progressed towards delivery by liaising through the vehicle progressors between customer, dealer, compound provider and Stellantis NSC B2B teams
  • Carry out specific Reporting to manage the movement of vehicle from Compounds to Fleet processing Hubs
  • Aid with the performance of the compound conducting regular performance reviews around the key service deliveries: PDI lead and completion time, Recall lead and completion time and other service provisions.
  • Have a deep understanding of the systems available to drive key business reporting
  • Agree processes and ensure efficiency of supply for required parts and components for final delivery e.g. locking wheel nuts, mats etc.
  • Create, manage, maintain and distribute key business files for use by the Logistics Managers
  • Run frequent reporting to generate data for teams across the UK NSC
  • Produce reporting on the fleet hub performance to include
  • NSC: Volumes, age, customer, cost, services and completion status, outbound delivery volumes etc.
  • Network: Volumes, days of free storage, services requested and completion status, outbound delivery etc.

Person Requirements:

  • Requiring strong time management and the ability to handle peak period workloads whilst maintaining an eye for detail and absolute accuracy
  • Able to comfortably analyse data and trends to make sensible decisions on logistical matter
  • Automotive background preferable
  • Previous leasing or logistics roles advantageous

Contract: Full Time / Fixed Term (9 months)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week

Place of Work: Home based. May be odd occasion where travel will be required to attend Stellantis HQ in Coventry or one of the Fleet hubs.

Pre-employment Checks: Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process).
