SPT Labtech are seeking a talented FP&A Business Partner to work on a fixed term contract for an initial 9-12 months to join our finance team covering maternity leave. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Weekly commercial and KPI reporting.
  • Month end reporting and variance analysis.
  • Budget and forecasting ownership and explaining variances to actual.
  • Partnering the commercial team with key decisions and insight.
  • Key finance contact for senior stakeholders.
  • Improving the data quality and speed of reporting through automation.
  • Supporting on ad-hoc projects and requests.
  • Deputy to Head of FP&A when required. 

Skills & Attributes

You will:

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Be able to work and communicate effectively with colleagues at a range of levels.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to prioritise your own workload, and that of your team, ensuring deadlines are met, whilst producing accurate work.

The essentials:

  • Fully qualified chartered accountant.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Power BI experience (linking data, creating reports and measures through DAX language).
  • Experience of management information reporting.
  • Experience of ERP systems.
  • Experience automating / improving efficiency of existing processes.
