Freelance Electrical Site Supervisor

Projects in development, construction, or operation in the UK and Ireland, include more than:

• 60 major thermal power plants, across the waste, biomass, and conventional power sectors
• 10 GWh of battery storage
• 5 GW of solar
• 7 GW of on-shore and off-shore wind
• 5 GWh of pumped storage hydro projects
• 20 carbon capture projects, aiming to capture and permanently sequestrate more than 5 million tonnes of CO2 per annum

We have over 175 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin and Glasgow and from sites spread across the UK and Ireland.

To support our ongoing role in the delivery of a major infrastructure project we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting an experienced freelance electrical site representative to work on an ongoing project in mid Cheshire for a period of 12 months.

We are looking for:

• a highly motivated and experienced electrical supervisor;
• experience in the installation of electrical systems for industrial and/or power generation facilities;
• knowledge of low voltage and medium voltage installations (knowledge of high voltage installations would be an additional benefit);
• ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team managing construction contractors on behalf of clients;
• good inter-personal and communication skills;
• familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience in recording the progress and quality of works;
• ability to chair weekly meetings and taking minutes;
• knowledge of UK Health and Safety Regulations; and
• a full driving licence.
