Front of House is a new and exciting role within Kirklees Council, you will be working within key Council assets providing an excellent and responsive Front of House experience for both staff and customers.
The way we work as a Council has changed dramatically since the COVID-19 Pandemic and as part of our recovery journey, we have established the need for key assets to have a Front of House Team to provide a high level of support to a wide range of people undertaking a range of activities. The Team will work with the Corporate Facilities Management Team and will play a key role in developing effective relationships with visitors and users of our assets.
Areas Of Responsibility Will Include
- Providing an excellent and responsive customer experience
- Acting as first point of contact for queries, dealing with them in a professional manner
- Undertaking day to day Front of House tasks – Reception / post / stock management on site etc
- Manual handling to ensure all boxes/post/packages/chairs is moved safely
- Troubleshooting IT Equipment such as Hybrid Working systems
- Management of Room and Desk Booking Systems
- Room Management including resetting spaces
- Providing Management information to the Asset Manager
- Liaising with Cleaning and Caretaking Teams to keep the asset to a suitable standard The successful candidates will work as part of a wider team and an expectation will be to work across shift patterns ranging between 8am and 7pm, dependent on the site.
The successful candidates will be required to work a scheduled Saturday as part of the rota
The successful candidates may have to travel between different sites where required.
