What You Will Do
As Senior FSCS Delivery & Control Manager you will:
- Lead the planning, prioritisation and delivery of all enhancements to the Banks FSCS processes – including SCV/exclusions file, ineligibles and FSCS communications
- Develop controls and processes to oversee, enhance and report on the Banks FSCS data quality and alignment to FSCS regulations
- Regularly report progress and performance to the Banks senior management including EXCO
- Manage the quarterly testing of the Banks FSCS processes
- Manage the annual Board attestation relating the compliance with FSCS rules
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Data (SQL) and Data Governance teams to ensure all risks relating to FSCS are efficiently managed and governed
- Work closely with stakeholders from across the Bank to ensure that changes to the Banks processes and products have consideration of the impact of FSCS related rules and regulations

What You Will Need
- You will be confident at decision making and problem solving, ensuring you take account of different perspectives while assessing and controlling risk.
- You will be a strong communicator, able to distil complex topics and communicate simple and pragmatic solutions as well as explain to, and influence, senior stakeholders.
- You will be able to work with 3rd party analytical tools (e.g. PowerBI) and excel to provide insight.
- You will be able to work collaboratively across a multi-functional team.
- Genuine interest in your discipline and desire to make a difference.
- You will need to be organised and great at planning ahead, as well as being able to prioritise and manage your time.
- You will be comfortable reviewing complex data sets.
- You will be able to lead and manage across a virtual team to deliver critical aspects of your role.
- You will be comfortable managing and delivering (in the detail) as well as operating strategically (setting vision, frameworks etc)
- You will have a strong understanding of the FSCS and associated PRA rules
- You will have a strong understanding of data governance
- You will have a strong understanding of risk and controls
- You will have extensive experience of managing FSCS related projects or processes
- You will have successfully managed complex regulatory projects and change
