Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative web and voice-connected solutions for our consumer-facing products.

This role focuses on delivering value to the business and its international markets by aligning development efforts with customer and market needs, as defined by our product and technology teams. A strong foundation in hands-on development, a collaborative mindset, and a focus on translating requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions are essential.

You will contribute effectively within the team, share your expertise, and ensure that development goals are met efficiently and to a high standard.

This position is working remotely (from an agreed location) but may require occasional office visits. Hot-desking at an office location is available should the candidate prefer.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing high-quality applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Optimising performance and security, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, DevOps, and Platform, to deliver seamless solutions.
• Building features that integrate seamlessly across both in-house systems and partner ecosystems, ensuring consistency and high-quality user experiences.
• Contributing to Agile processes by actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Writing and maintaining automated tests, ensuring reliability and catching issues early.
• Participating in code reviews to uphold coding standards and improve quality.
• Troubleshooting performance issues and implementing solutions to improve application efficiency.
• Driving continuous improvement by contributing to technical decisions, enhancing the development stack, and sharing knowledge.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in full-stack development, with expertise in HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• A strong understanding of coding standards, testing practices, and security principles (e.g., OWASP top 10).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices: Use CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, GitHub Actions, and AWS Lambda for efficient, scalable solutions.
• Experience or knowledge of working with REST APIs.
• A collaborative, proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
