Description

Working with a well established fund, you will support on their Listed Funds (Infrastructure / Private Equity) and be a point of contact for the full life cycle of the Funds.


The role will play a central role in the UK Listed Trust Fund Finance team. This will include key fund finance activities such as fund administrator accounting oversight, fund audit, reporting, valuation procedures, and other operational processes that may be required.


The role is broad and diverse, below is a snapshot of some of the tasks the team cover:


  • Partner with the Portfolio Management Team to provide financial and operational support to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Build, develop and maintain good working relationships between the team and its internal/external clients and suppliers.
  • Act as the day-to-day contact in relation to any operational issues, liaising with Operations Teams, Portfolio Management Team, Investment Teams and the external Board to ensure best in class service is delivered.
  • Co-ordinate and assist with quarterly NAV production, including the production of the quarterly Managers Report, and attendance at quarterly Board meetings.
  • Co-ordinate and assist with the production of the Valuation Committee pack and supporting papers for review and approval by the Sub Valuation Committee.
  • Fund accounting review, ensuring that financial deliverables are of high quality and financial statements are accurate and complete.
  • Review and approval of fund expenses - ensuring these are reasonable and understood.
  • Preparation of an annual operating budget, liaising with the Portfolio Management Team and Administrator as appropriate and reporting key variances.
  • Review of quarterly loan compliance reporting.
  • Preparation and ownership of the interim and year end audit Financial Statements timetable, for approval by the board.
  • Ownership of the interim and year end external audits, which will include liaising with the external auditors and ensuring that audit queries are addressed and completed in line with deadlines.


Key Skills Required


  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA etc)
  • Exposure to Private Equity Funds - Listed Funds highly desirable - can be via Audit /Third Party Admin / In House
  • 3-7 Years of Fund Accounting / Fund Finance experience
  • We can consider Auditors with Listed Fund Audit experience as well
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
