Pantheon Ventures is a leading global private markets investor with over $90 billion in assets under management. We are seeking a highly motivated Associate, Fund Finance to join our Private Equity strategy team in London.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic and entrepreneurial team, supporting the launch and management of innovative fund structures and products. You’ll play a key role in fund accounting, valuation, reporting, and operational oversight, working closely with internal teams and external service providers.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Private Equity teams to support financial and operational objectives.
- Oversee fund accounting and review financial deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Support fund launches, working with structuring teams, legal counsel, and external advisors.
- Review and approve fund expenses, management/performance fees, and capital events.
- Coordinate with third-party administrators, depositaries, and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and risk frameworks.
- Contribute to regulatory and investor reporting.
- Support transaction closings, fund sales, extensions, and liquidations.
📘 What We’re Looking For
- Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of private markets.
- Experience in fund accounting, operations, or financial oversight.
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to document processes and controls clearly.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.
