Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist
Location: Edinburgh preferred, (Aberdeen and Bristol also considered) - Hybrid 2+ days in office per week
As a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist at Beam, you will assist with GIS requirements for ocean energy projects. You will be involved with offshore map and chart creation, data management, data specification interpretation, report writing and processing digital deliverables. This position is crucial to supporting the geomatics and marine site characterisation team in delivering high-quality, client-focused geospatial solutions.
At Beam, we are busy making offshore hydrographic and subsea surveys more autonomous, using autonomous ships, and underwater robots enabled by our computer vision, AI, and data technology. You do not need to have renewables experience for this role, giving you a fantastic opportunity to join the renewables revolution!
