We are seeking a Compliance Sr. Analyst to spearhead the creation and integration of a new analyst team within our compliance function. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder management, and operational development to establish an enhanced commercial risk assessment process. The ideal candidate is a leader with a strong project management background, a talent for navigating ambiguity, and a passion for coaching and development. Additionally, the role will include enhancing program governance, including the development of policies and playbooks to support consistency and scalability.
What You'll Do
Strategic Development
- Lead the design and implementation of a new strategic risk assessment process.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align processes with organizational goals and compliance frameworks.
- Identify and address gaps in current risk and compliance procedures, creating innovative solutions.
Program Governance
- Support the development and enhancement of governance structures for the compliance and risk assessment program.
- Write, review, and maintain policies, playbooks, and other foundational documents to ensure clarity and alignment with organizational standards.
- Establish guidelines and frameworks for program oversight and continuous improvement.
Operational Framework
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the analyst team.
- Define team workflows, roles, and responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency and clarity.
- Create tools, templates, and resources to support the analyst team’s effectiveness.
- Team Leadership:
- Oversee the integration of the new analyst team into the compliance function, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Identify and deliver targeted training programs for the analyst team and the broader compliance and risk teams.
Stakeholder Communication And Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the analyst team, compliance function, and other departments to align efforts.
- Develop communication strategies to socialize new processes and gain stakeholder buy-in.
Project And Change Management
- Drive end-to-end project management for process development and implementation.
- Monitor progress, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Adapt to new challenges and pivot strategies as needed in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Bring
Experience
- 5+ years in compliance, risk management, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role.
- Proven experience developing and implementing processes in a complex organizational setting.
- Experience in policy writing and program governance is highly desirable.
