About The Role
The Digital Lead will spearhead excellence within the digital space for CHANEL by governing the appropriate brand posture, establishing the relevant and effective digital media spaces and taking a considerate approach in evaluating new digital opportunities. The Digital Lead will demonstrate credibility and expertise to key CHANEL stakeholders and within LMM through insightful, data driven POVs, and thought leadership pieces.
Digital Lead Objectives
Drive digital excellence for CHANEL. The Digital Lead is ultimately responsible for all global digital guidelines across divisions.
Lead on establishing Joint Partnerships. Including commercial, strategic and exploratory partnerships to maximise the value exchange for CHANEL.
Drive a learning agenda for CHANEL. Establishing a global approach to testing and learning, while maximising relevant partner capabilities.
Inspire and educate on future-facing digital topics. Ensure that CHANEL understand what's next in digital with actionable recommendations.
Establish the local CHANEL approach across key digital platforms. Within global guidelines, define the best approach to each digital platform and lead the local relationship with local digital media partners.
Nurture digital expertise within your team Ensure work across the digital team is to the highest possible standard. Empower digital team members with the appropriate digital skills to deliver for CHANEL
Excellence in digital activation. Guarantee that all digital activation for CHANEL meets the execution standards of the House .and that globally defined standards are followed within buying platforms, campaign trafficking and data reporting.
Lead global projects and initiatives. Feeding in local market expertise, nuance and landscape considerations to global thought leadership pieces.
Champion our agency tools and tech. Leveraging the capabilities of our agency tech and tools to deliver best-in-class digital planning, buying and optimisation for CHANEL.
Facilitate network expertise. Sharing relevant digital strategic pieces and POVs from OMG experts to enable access to network level knowledge.
Establish strong and effective client relationships. The Digital Lead will bring a strong point of view for CHANEL. They will be a trusted advisor for their CHANEL client on digital topics and take a leadership position in relevant meetings
Lead LMM Digital Council. Connecting key digital representatives across local and regional teams to connect on priority topics.

Digital Lead Hard Skills
8+ years' experience in digital/cross-channel media, Adtech, Ops. Experience with “high-touch”/luxury brands would be an advantage.
Deep understanding of digital media and its impact on brand narrative, brand safety and overall consumer usage and perceptions.
Data literate and resourceful across key digital and planning tools, platforms systems and measurement.
“In-platform knowledge of key digital specialisms - SEM, Programmatic, Video, Social.
Excels in project management, comfortable delivering across multiple workstreams.
Clear communicator with inspirational written and presentation skills.
