Our International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We are recruiting for a Global Head of Incentives. As part of the Group Customer Channels team, this is a global role that owns the effective development, implementation and governance of the IWPB Incentive Framework. This includes employee incentive and reward for more than 45,000 staff within the global IWPB business and product lines across Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Retail Business Banking and Collections.

In this role you will:

• Provide leadership to ensure the operation of the IWPB Incentive Framework, Third Party Incentive Framework, Recognition Plans and Leadership Training Events in counties is compliant with external regulatory guidance, business risk appetite, and internal policies
• Chair the Global Incentive Forum and provide expert opinion as a member of the global business team to the GIF members and countries
• Work with country teams to ensure any proposed amendments to local implementation of the frameworks, including dispensations & exceptions, are appropriately managed
• Lead collaboration across Global and country teams inclusive of proposition, product, channel, employees, customer, risk, and finance.
• Leads across matrix teams to develop capabilities, working in close collaboration with stakeholders for the benefit of both the business & customers
• Responsible for ensuring the implementation of specific strategic goals in conjunction with stakeholders
• Provide subject matter expertise and work effectively across the matrix to influence change in the organisation and promote greater effectiveness
• Provide line management for the Global Incentives team

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong background in performance, rewards and incentives
• Experience of working with / for a financial institution, ideally at a Global level
• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark.
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Ability to work on multiple, complex programs and initiatives simultaneously.
• Able to navigate conflicting strategic priorities and decisions
• Able to operate effectively in a complex matrix driven environment

This is a hybrid role to be based in Birmingham, Leeds, Chester or Whiteley.
