About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and conscientious Planning Account Manager with a strong grounding in the practical skills of planning across all media disciplines. The candidate will have a strong grasp of new / emerging media and will be able to deliver solutions that push both media boundaries and category norms where possible. The role is to work within the L'Oréal Planning team with ownership of the Garnier Haircare brands. This is a key role within the team and there is an expectation to have the confidence and experience to be able to work autonomously across a number of products within the haircare range.
This role would suit someone with a positive attitude, initiative and a genuine passion for the beauty market and brands within the haircare portfolio. Furthermore have the desire and curiosity to work hard; immerse yourself in understanding and being on top of all new news within the category. With a number of active brands across specialist marketing teams, you will need to be able to work simultaneously across a number of campaigns and have good organisational skills. A strong trait in all members of our team is always having a point of view to give our clients and demonstrating personal guardianship of the brands we work across.
We have a dedicated activation team who work with us to produce cross-disciplined responses to brief, which will give you the opportunity to learn and work with a variety of teams across the business.
Above all, we will require you to want to provide your clients with the very best of service and media solutions. Quality, attention-to-detail and innovation are highly prized in this role.
- Develop a deep understanding of your brands’ businesses and the categories in which they operate.
- Strength in strategic planning, implementational planning with a strong understanding of digital
- Support your brands’ to achieve their ambitious growth targets by providing solutions that will make a measurable contribution to success.
- To be able to assume responsibility for all work in the absence of the Account Director
- Manage close working relationship with senior day to day clients
- To support the Account Director in ensuring the group runs smoothly and to run accounts effectively
- To be able to confidently and clearly present work to the client, verbally to document form
