Role Responsibility
There is an exciting opportunity to join Kent County Council in the capacity of Graduate Digital Change Officer and be a part of the Digital Transformation team.
The Graduate Digital Change Officer at Kent County Council (KCC) will play a crucial role in embedding change within various digital projects across the organisation. This role is focused on ensuring that change initiatives are seamlessly integrated into project delivery, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.
You will support the Change Manager and work alongside project teams to implement change management strategies that align with KCC’s objectives, ensuring that all stakeholders are prepared for and are supportive of the changes being introduced. You will also support the Digital Change Manager in carrying out change assessments, which include conducting impact analysis, assessing readiness for change, and identifying key stakeholders. Developing change management plans for digital transformation workstreams and related initiatives are crucial to embedding KCC’s change management approach and ensuring staff are prepared for change.
About You
We welcome applications from candidates that have prior experience in data analysis and reviewing and presenting information, reports and recommendations to managers and colleagues. A proven track record of understanding business analysis techniques and appropriate data suites is also essential.
You will need to have good communication skills, both written and verbal, complemented by great organisational and administrative skills. You should also be able to undertake technical research, analyse and interpret varied data and be able to build relationships within the team and work with enthusiasm. An understanding of Agile Project Management is also important.
A willingness to work towards an Improvement Practitioner apprenticeship is essential.
