About the program
This 6-month Fast Track Graduate Program offers an immersive pathway into the world of investor-grade market research. As a Market Research Analyst, you'll rotate through our Custom Insights Team, building a hands-on understanding of how surveys, expert calls, and channel checks shape billion-dollar decisions.
You’ll develop real-world experience in investment research, learn how to design and execute fieldwork from scratch, and see your work influence trading decisions made by some of the most sophisticated funds in the world.
Top performers may be offered a permanent role at the end of the program.
What you'll do
- Design Research Instruments: Help design B2B survey questionnaires and expert interview guides tailored to investor hypotheses and client priorities.
- Source Primary Data: Identify and engage with frontline professionals—from former execs to decision-makers—who can offer differentiated perspectives.
- Run Expert Interviews: Conduct structured 1:1 calls with market participants and extract high-signal insights for investor audiences.
- Analyze Results: Clean, interpret, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable, investor-ready conclusions.
- Write Reports: Contribute to high-impact client deliverables using charts, commentary, and supporting evidence.
- Work With Clients: Shadow calls with buy-side analysts, attend project briefings, and refine deliverables based on feedback from hedge fund PMs and PE deal teams.
- Stay Ahead of the Market: Monitor relevant sectors for industry movements, earnings trends, and macro themes shaping investor interest.
About you
- Graduate-Level Education: You’ve recently completed (or are completing) a bachelor’s or master’s in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Intellectually Curious: You love asking questions, digging deeper, and getting to the truth behind the data.
- Strong Communicator: Whether speaking with a CEO or writing a summary for an investor, you're clear, concise, and confident.
- Analytically Sharp: You're comfortable with spreadsheets, basic analysis, and can interpret charts or survey results with ease.
- Commercially Aware: You’re fascinated by markets, sectors, and what makes a company outperform.
- Self-Starter: You thrive in fast-paced environments, work well independently, and embrace feedback to improve quickly.
