About the Role: We are looking for a Graduate Social Value Developer to help our company meet the growing demand for Social Value activity across our Group’s businesses. This newly created role will support the Head of ESG & Marketing and the ESG Working Group in developing and coordinating Social Value activity and impact across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with community groups, clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into project planning.
- Social Impact Activity Delivery: Identify suitable social value projects, coordinate activity delivery, and ensure completion against relevant metrics and timescales.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyse data related to social value metrics from various sources, reporting and inputting data using internal and external software systems.
- Impact Measurement: Assist in developing and implementing frameworks to measure the social impact of projects.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on social value outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Research: Conduct research on best practices in social value measurement and stay updated on industry trends.
- Communication: Create content for social media, newsletters, and other communication channels to promote the company’s social value initiatives.
- Support: Provide administrative support to Social Value stakeholders and Leads as needed.
- Events: Attend industry events and conferences to develop networks and stay informed of social value developments.
- Funding: Identify opportunities for sponsorship, collaborations, and cross-company efficiencies to increase the impact of social value activity.
Person Specification:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Environmental Studies, Business, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, good analytical skills and attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Attributes: Passionate about social value impact, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience in social value measurement or community engagement.
- Knowledge of social value frameworks and methodologies.
