Group Accountant

We are working with an international life insurance company who are looking for a Group Accountant to join their finance team based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business undergoing a substantial period of change and growth.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Supporting the quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Leading the consolidation process and working with the individual business units to produce the accounts on a timely manner
• Supporting the annual audit process and providing technical accounting advise
• Embedding and documenting all financial controls for the group finance function

You will need to be:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalents
• Experience in either preparing or auditing consolidations
• Insurance experience is required (alternatively strong group accountants from wider financial services can be considered)
• IFRS 17 and/or US GAAP
• Candidates coming straight from Top 4 audit firms can be considered if you have insurance clients
• You need to be available on short notice

You will be on a 12 month FTC with a potential to extend/go permanent. £70,000-£75,000 + bonus + benefits. 3 days/ week in Central London location.
