Role Purpose

The Group Digital Communications Manager will have a significant impact on crafting and completing Flutter’s digital and social media strategy across its corporate platforms. The role will be part of a lean, fast-paced team and will work closely with the Group Head of Corporate Brand Marketing. This position will have a global remit, supporting Flutter’s multi-brand and multi-region structure across the US, UKI, SEA, APAC, CEE, and Brazil divisions. The role will also interact with senior collaborators across the Group functions.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Lead digital and social media channels for Flutter’s campaigns and day-to-day activities, including content creation and leading content calendars.
  • Develop and implement Flutter’s digital strategy, generating and driving content for the Group’s corporate website.
  • Lead and improve Flutter’s social media strategy to support business and communications objectives.
  • Build engaging social content, blog posts, and articles, while staying informed on industry trends.
  • Monitor and facilitate social media engagement, responding to posts and encouraging discussions.
  • Track and report performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Lead digital media inquiries, ensuring timely and appropriate responses in the company’s tone of voice.
  • Compile monthly reports on analytics, engagement, and overall digital strategy performance.
  • Lead external consultants, partners, and vendors as necessary.
  • Maintain website CRM and build website pages as required, including news hub articles and press releases
  • Develop and lead paid campaigns to boost reach and engagement, working with our agency to optimise and report on results
  • Experiment with emerging digital formats for content (eg video, podcasts, interactive content) to enhance audience engagement

Skills & Capabilities

  • Experience in digital and social media communications, preferably within a large corporate or agency setting.
  • Proficient in planning, developing, and implementing social media campaigns, with familiarity with analytics tools.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and navigate complex issues.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to take initiatives from development to execution.
  • In-depth understanding of the corporate, social, and digital media landscape.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
  • Solid collaborator management skills, including experience engaging with senior leadership.
  • Proven paid social media experience, particularly with LinkedIn ad platform and audience building
  • Experience maintaining websites, Umbraco experience preferable
  • Experience producing creative content for social media, Canva and PPT desirable

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working in digital and social media communications within consumer-facing industries (regulated sector experience is a plus).
  • Previous experience leading corporate social media strategies and developing proactive campaigns.
  • Knowledge of betting and gaming is not essential but is beneficial.
  • Consistent record in handling multiple projects and collaborating with various individuals concurrently.
  • Corporate Communications experience and/or understanding of financial communications and capital markets environment desirable

  • Increased engagement and reach across Flutter’s corporate digital and social platforms.
  • Successful execution of the corporate website content strategy.
  • Positive collaborator feedback on the efficiency of digital communications.
  • Clear reporting on analytics that shows value from digital and social media initiatives.
  • Strong alignment of digital content with Flutter’s overall business and communication objectives.
