There has never been a more exciting time to join Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG)., and we are looking to appoint an outstanding Group Operational Director of Finance. This opportunity to join our leadership team comes at a time that has never been more important, as we shape and deliver our strategy and work towards better outcomes for patients in Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
Following the permanent appointment of Paul Antunes Goncalves as Group Chief Finance Officer, the Trust is seeking an exceptional Group Operational Director of Finance, who will provide leadership for the Group shared service function, providing a core finance service to our local sites and our Group Support Service teams, encompassing all operational finance activities including financial planning & reporting, corporate finance, financial control, financial performance, financial management and partnering.
We are seeking a candidate with .an outstanding track record of success at a senior level in the NHS or wider public sector. You will possess first class financial leadership and influencing skills with the ability to forge effective working relationships across a wide set of internal and external stakeholders. You will be an exemplary ambassador for the Trust and have the political nous to support the Trusts interests across the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an established Deputy CFO or aspirant leader who is looking to make this step up, to be part of a dynamic and evolving environment, where they can have real influence.
