Description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Group Financial Controller with significant experience gained in a complex international listed Group. It will ideally suit someone looking for one last appointment before securing their first listed CFO role. This is a significant management role with responsibility for a large, multi-location, finance team, including responsibility for an overseas based Shared Service Centre. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team and be a recognised deputy for the Group CFO.

Skills

Candidates for this Group Financial Controller role should have gained extensive relevant experience in a similar listed international business. You should have a keen interest in pursuing operational efficiency by maximising the use of financial systems and developing highly efficient business processes. With a successful track record of leading and building large finance teams, across multiple global locations, we are seeking a calm and confident personality with the ability to ‘get things done’. You will also possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with Board and executive level leaders.

This is a very high-profile appointment, offering a genuine route to CFO of a significant plc that is seeking to further develop a world class finance function.
