Role Objective
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, the Guest Experience Manager will oversee the running of hotel operations, as well as support all heads of department.
Key Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations: Food and Beverage, Front Office and accommodation
- Involvement in the strategic planning of the Food and Beverage department
- Opportunity to demonstrate your creative flair in menu creation
- Shared accountability for monthly stocktake and ordering in the Food and Beverage department
- Ambassador of service that exceeds expectation
- Work within budgeted guidelines for food, beverage and payroll cost
- Motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest service including evaluating guest feedback
- Implement creative ways to maximise revenue within all areas of the hotel
- Ensure compliance with brand standards in all departments
Requirements Include
- An exuberant personality
- Passionate about delivering exceptional service
- Previous supervisory experience within the Hotel or Hospitality Industry
- A mature and pleasant manner for dealing with guests and team members
- Great communication skills: written and oral
- Knowledge of Opera and Micros would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
