As Head Chef at Dixons Newall Green you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, nutritious meals to our staff and students. You will have the chance to showcase your culinary talents by creating modern and appealing menus for students aged 11 - 16 all while benefiting from the support of a multi-site catering manager.
About This Role:
Culinary excellence
Craft delicious and nutritious meals for approximately 150 staff and students in Year 1, with an expanding number of diners each year.
Continuously innovate and improve menus to meet the evolving tastes and dietary needs of our students.
Team management and development
Lead a small kitchen team and foster a positive working environment.
Assist in recruiting and training future kitchen staff to support our growth over the next three years.
Work-life balance
Enjoy a regular schedule with hours from 7AM to 3PM, Monday to Friday, providing a work-life balance that's often elusive in the culinary world.
