We are seeking a dynamic and motivated person to join our team as the Head of Advertising (Partnerships), Account Management. This pivotal role will oversee partnerships across our advertising sales houses in multiple territories, ensuring seamless collaboration, driving revenue growth, and executing operational excellence.


This is a unique opportunity to join a small but impactful team and work across diverse projects while contributing to our advertising strategy. You will report directly to the VP of Ad Sales and collaborate closely with regional offices to optimise revenue performance and support new advertising opportunities.


We’re looking for someone who’s analytical, an expert in advertising performance, and comfortable diving into data to inform strategy. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy translating insights into action and collaborating closely with external partners to drive results. Our plan is for you to initially join the team as an individual contributor, with the potential to hire a direct report.


This is a permanent position. This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working on exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.


Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertising sales houses across multiple territories.
  • Oversee the negotiation, execution, and compliance of partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all sales house partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.


Revenue Delivery & Optimisation

  • Drive revenue delivery by managing sales house performance against targets.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise ad monetisation and optimise existing revenue streams.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to explore and develop advertising opportunities.


Commercial Analysis & Reporting

  • Proficient in commercial data research and audience profiles
  • Conduct performance analyses, ensuring revenue goals are achieved and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver insightful reporting on ad performance and revenue trends.
  • Troubleshoot challenges and propose data-driven solutions to ensure consistent performance.


Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with the VP Ad Sales and regional offices to align on priorities and execute strategies.
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Take initiative to own projects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to team success with minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven background in advertising account management, sales partnerships, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess performance against targets and recommend strategic actionable insights to drive revenue.
  • Experience in running data research and audience profiles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, partnership management, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments and regions.


Desirable Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing people.
  • Proficient in conducting independent data research and analysing audience profiles with a strong commercial focus.
  • Previous experience working with TechEdge, BARB, and/or Adalyser research.
