Branded Content sit within Global’s Broadcast and Content division, providing creative solutions for the National Commercial Partnerships, with a unique goal of supporting both revenue and audience growth

As a Head of Branded Content at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead an established team of producers to ensure excellence in the Branded Content process from ideation to implementation.
  • Getting under the skin of the Capital, Radio X and Classic FM brands to understand core audience objectives & commercial targets
  • Develop strong relationships with Senior Stakeholders across both Commercial & Broadcasting and Content
  • Ensure campaigns deliver value for both editorial and commercial teams with a focus on creativity and innovation
  • You will be solutions focused with a collaborative approach to achieve objectives for all parties.
  • Ensure output is of the highest standards, driving great results for clients, and inspire these behaviours in others.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills to help the team plan and deliver multiple touch-point campaigns to the highest industry standards.
  • We will expect you to think proactively to improve working practices and help the team to perform to full potential.
  • You will support and coach your team to provide a supportive environment.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Have built out a robust strategy for the team’s direction, ensuring we continue to deliver world class branded content through a lens of creativity and innovation.
  • Built strong relationships with key stakeholders across Commercial, Broadcasting and wider content teams.
  • Achieved market recognition for bigger bolder ideas
  • Contributed to integrated partnerships across multiple brands and helped secure future campaigns.

What You’ll Need

  • A proven track record of successfully managing teams, coaching and developing.
  • A strong understanding of Radio
  • Experience in generating creative solutions to meet client briefs and to engage listeners.
  • Experience of presenting and communicating to teams with the aim of galvanising vision and purpose.
  • The ability to balance the needs of many stakeholders and engage with them in a positive way.
  • Nurturing talent by empowering and guiding individuals to unlock their potential
  • Creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where diverse views and experiences are welcomed and celebrated in your team
