Role And Responsibilities
About the position
We are on the hunt for an experienced B2B Creative Designer to work across Samsung Ads and other new Samsung Services. This role will have ownership for the Samsung Ads brand in Europe and Mena and its creative execution in market incl adherence and optimisation of brand guidelines and the creation of design materials across all B2B platforms to the highest standard of function and design.
Nearly every facet of marketing and sales starts with some form of content - whether it’s a sales presentation, on-platform campaign, landing page, case study, or social media post - content is how we engage an audience, earn customer trust, and communicate our value proposition. And design is a critical part of how content is perceived. You will develop, handle and roll out our brand identity across all communications and ensure the visual design consistently matches the voice and tone of our messaging.
The individual should be a self-starter, design generalist and have a keen eye for detail. Bonus if you have a deep understanding of the ins and outs of entertainment industry, media agencies or B2B companies. They should have a passion for design and technology and ability to translate complex product ideas into beautiful design concepts.
The role will entail handling existing external design resources as well as sourcing new external design solutions. This individual must be very organised and a strong collaborator, and lead all Samsung ads as well as internal design collaborators across the Samsung universe.
This role is based in London and you will report to our Senior Director of Marketing & Analytics Europe. Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow our small design team…. Ultimately to take design to the next level at Samsung Ads
- The Head of Design will have a broad oversight over creative design concepts, projects, and workflows. You’ll provide the creative direction, resources, and management your team needs to consistently deliver best-in-class work.
- As the Head of Design for the European Ads business, you will have full ownership and accountability for the brand and all its executions. Will have full responsibility for owning and implementing brand guidelines.
- Will manage all design resources both internally and externally, and be responsible for associated budgeting and resource management.
- Design digital and social assets for B2B campaigns, projects and platforms
- Development and creation of sales narrative into power point designs and templates
- Creation of all in market narrative including: Case Studies, White-paper reports, Product One Sheets and Videos
- Creating mocks to support new product solutions for advertising clients and partners
- Develop local design styles within global brand guidelines for specific market nuances
- Develop design concepts to help drive new creative, branding ideas or new narrative in market.
- Utilise online platform for all creative briefs, workflow management and approvals
- Quality checking all jobs and ensure all data is correct with key partners
- Work with Global Creative services to roll out new guidelines and templates
- Source and Handle all Samsung design assets including, UI’s, partner logos, approved imagery etc.
What We Need For This Role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in a similar (Head of Design) role.
- Experience managing and mentoring designers, in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading creative direction and strategic thinking - representing work to a broader team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts
- Experience articulating and synthesising design problems and solutions to a cross-functional team of engineers, marketers etc
- Strong ability to provide clear creative direction with timely, supportive and regular feedback
- Exercises judgement in selecting tools and resources to obtain the most efficient and effective results. Figures out methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks.
- A qualification in Graphic Design/Visual Communication
- Demonstrated competency across the entire Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Competency across Microsoft programs
- A high level of attention to detail
- An understanding of hierarchy and design space in regards to campaign objectives
- A strong understanding of the print production process
- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver in both print and digital mediums
- Premier Pro and After effects are not essential but are helpful

- Proven background in industry or relatable experience with a significant portion spent working at a media publisher
- Bachelor's Degree; MBA or other advanced degree or equivalent experience a plus
