Head of Finance

I'm delighted to be partnering with a successful and fast paced industry leader within the Peterborough area to recruit their new Head of Finance. Reporting to the Finance Director your remit will be to take full control of the finance function and lead and mentor the existing team which includes purchase ledger, payroll and credit control and management accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity to elevate your career in a business critical role that you can make your own. Previous or current experience managing teams is essential as you will need to be confident in hitting the ground running.

The Finance Director requires someone who can work with autonomy as you'll lead budgeting and forecasting in line with key business areas. You'll need to monitor the team's progress and drive improvement on key performance indicators to ensure efficiencies.

Due to the nature of the business this will be a site-based role, but flexi-working is available and you are free to work from home 1 day per month for life's eventualities.

The ideal person will need to be fully qualified, have an agile mindset and have strong experience with cash management.
