Head of Financial Controlling – Multi-Site Hospitality Business
Location: London
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Financial Controlling to join a thriving multi-site hospitality business based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role and make a significant impact on the financial strategy and performance of a rapidly growing company. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting for UK and international entities, including intercompany transfer pricing and group consolidation.
- Lead the annual and interim audit process, managing the relationship with external auditors for efficient audits.
- Prepare technical accounting papers for the Board and auditors, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage consolidated financial statements for the Group and statutory filings for subsidiaries, ensuring timely legal submissions.
- Own and update accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK and European financial regulations.
- Maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks, driving process improvements.
About You:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Extensive experience with IFRS16 and lease accounting.
- Strong background in financial reporting, group consolidation, and managing multi-jurisdictional financial processes.
- Previous experience in a multi-site business or hospitality environment is highly advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing finance team.
