Description
As Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will join our thriving Finance team through an exciting phase of growth. You will play an integral role in delivering the strategic plan, annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the business, whilst driving financial analysis, modelling, and forecasting activity. With strong analytical skills and excellent leadership capabilities, you will guide decision-making across the organisation to lead the firm towards financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Senior Management to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Leading on annual budgeting and forecasting processes whilst working closely with various departments to align strategic objectives.
- Conducting financial analysis and providing support on projects to assess financial impact and feasibility.
- Reviewing the potential impact of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) activity on group financial performance and position.
- Monitoring KPIs to deliver insight into commercial analysis and identify risks/opportunities to enhance financial performance.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial modelling capabilities.
- Preparing monthly financial performance commentary alongside the Financial Control team to provide commercial insight and enhance financial performance.
- Performing stress tests on forecasted financial performance to ensure compliance with regulatory capital, liquidity, and treasury requirements are adhered to.
- Designing comprehensive reporting packs to provide transparency and insights to investors.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Qualified Accountant at ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent level (essential).
- Substantial experience within Financial Planning and Analysis (essential).
- Experience within Wealth Management or Financial Services (desirable).
- Experience implementing an FP&A system (desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
- Excellent financial modelling skills with high proficiencies in Excel and financial software.
