Required
- Develop and execute the company-wide logistics strategy aligned with construction project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and execute the site-specific logistics plans aligned with construction project timelines and budgets.
- Implement and maintain logistics systems and technology to improve visibility, tracking, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams to align logistics with business priorities.
- Manage storage operations, inventory control, and asset management.
- Plan and monitor transport routes and logistics operations across multiple construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and site teams to forecast material needs and avoid bottlenecks.
- Negotiate contracts with logistics providers, transportation companies and storage providers.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards for logistics operations.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop a high performing logistics team.
- Lead logistics packages – Traffic Management, Security, Excavated Material and Fleet.
Required
- Degree Qualified (or experience equivalent to a degree).
- Strong demonstrable leadership skills essential, with experience of building and managing teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction logistics, warehousing, inventory systems, and transportation planning.
- Experience within the construction industry.
- CILT membership.
