Walthmastow Academy is seeking an outstanding and innovative Head of Music to lead a vibrant department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning to inspire students across all Key Stages.
As Head of Music, you'll lead a dynamic team, overseeing a well-resourced department with state-of-the-art music facilities, including five practice rooms, a studio control room, and a fully-equipped classroom with M1 Macs and various musical instruments. You'll be responsible for developing teaching strategies, monitoring progress, and promoting innovative practices that support the success of all students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the Music department across all Key Stages.
- Set high expectations for teaching and learning standards.
- Support and develop staff through line management and professional development.
