An exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing new business (closing AE) team at a scaling global data and intelligence company, backed by private equity.
The business is on a major growth journey, combining 100+ years of trusted commodity pricing expertise with a new digital platform to drive its next phase of expansion.
This role is critical to scaling new logo acquisition, driving strategic deals, and leading a strong team of closing Account Executives across EMEA and APAC.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead, coach, and scale a team of closing Account Executives focused on winning new business.
- Build and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth across EMEA and APAC markets.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead engagement through to closing.
- Optimise pipeline management, conversion rates, and deal velocity.
- Set up a high-performance sales culture, supporting continuous learning and development.
- Leverage key sales metrics, data, and market insights to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure a seamless GTM strategy.
- Expand into new markets, targeting SMEs, corporates, and public sector clients.
What They're Looking For:
- Degree-level education (MBA or business-related qualification a plus).
- Proven track record in leading new business/closing AE teams in SaaS or high-growth environments.
- Strong background in full-cycle sales management and consistently hitting/exceeding new business targets.
- Experience implementing structured sales methodologies and processes (MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.).
- Expertise with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, Mindtickle, Clari, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Outstanding leadership, coaching, and commercial skills.
- Strategic mindset, highly adaptable, customer-focused, and proactive.
