What We Expect

We are looking for an experienced Head of New Installations to join our Senior Leadership team, reporting to the Managing Director. Ideal candidate will be located anywhere between London and Nottingham.

This role will be responsible for leading the TKE New Installations initiatives, including establishing business plans, developing marketplace opportunities, overseeing internal processes, and providing employee leadership in the achievement of common goals.

As a Head of New Installations, your day to day will include:

  • Take responsibility for all site operations including production, quality and maintenance. Leading and directing the performance of field operations for all maintenance and contractual service
  • Leading the Operational team of Engineers and Fitters, continuously developing skills, competencies and overall capability of regional employees
  • Manage colleague performance management and employee development, to ensure highly competent and motivated teams are available to achieve the planned results
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop and implement a strategy for activities that align with the organisation's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives
  • Be responsible for quality assurance, safety, technical support and expenditure of labour materials and other assets
  • Maintains excellent communications in all directions to ensure that all team members understand the functional and national objectives, business performance and customer related matters
  • Take ownership for growth, sales plans, customer satisfaction and implementation of business plans, ensuring that agreed sales processes are executed that provide profitable growth for the business
  • Establish operating budgets; monitor the cost, effectiveness, and reliability of NI, maintenance and modernization activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending, and ensure that standards are met

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a Lift / Escalator Installations senior management role
  • Experience of a high-volume product / project environment
  • Be capable of developing strong customer focused relationships at a senior level
  • Customer relationship management skills and experience
  • Market and customer business understanding
  • Business management in sales and / or operational management with budget responsibility
  • Ability to initiate, take ownership and drive change
  • Ability to achieve targets for the business
