The successful candidate will have:
- Understanding and awareness of the political processes in local Government.
- Knowledge of committee and constitutional affairs in local Government.
- Awareness of major policy issues facing local Government and major trends in policy.
- Experience of successful community leadership, engagement and multi-agency community projects and services that improve service delivery to provide the best outcomes for communities and residents.
- Experience of creating partnerships across internal and external stakeholders at a strategic and operational level.
