What You Will Do
- As the Head of Prudential Risk Oversight you will build, manage and motivate a function to provide formal written periodic review summaries of Prudential Risk Oversight for consideration at committees including Executive & Board Risk Committees
- You will be responsible for effective oversight of the Prudential Statements, namely, ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan and Resolvability Assessment Framework
- Provide independent opinion regarding Prudential risk matters to the CRO, Executive Committee (typically via Executive Risk Committee) and Board (typically via Board Risk Committee
- Manage and develop 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) Regulatory Reporting Oversight
- Challenge and support Finance and Treasury teams in their progress to fulfil regulatory reporting responsibilities, feeding back directly to the relevant stakeholders as well as presenting at the relevant committees

What You Will Need
- Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
- You must have a strong understanding of banking regulation
- Identify and interpret relevant regulations and their source
- Strong understanding of risk management and ICAAP/ILAAP best practice and processes
- In depth knowledge and experience of capital & liquidity reporting requirements
- Understanding of ALCO and Risk committee structure as relevant for governance of Prudential deliverables
- Experience of managing, influencing and coaching a team
