Head of Science (Maternity Cover)

We’re looking for a passionate and committed Head of Science to lead our thriving department on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and shape the future of science education at The Beacon School.

About the Role

You’ll lead a collaborative, forward-thinking team, focused on engaging lessons, strong practical science, and preparing students for study beyond GCSE. Our STEM club and enrichment offer further opportunities to make a lasting impact.

Can further develop our curriculum and team

Contract: Temporary and Full-Time

Start Date: September or October 2025

Salary: MPR/UPR (Fringe) + TLR2
