The Role: You will lead Screening and Monitoring with expertise in Financial Crime and Sanctions compliance at Euroclear ESA, supporting our strategic objectives and regulatory standards. You will influence our Group's strategic change by supporting infrastructure development for our global Screening and Transaction Monitoring strategy.
Responsibilities
- We develop and implement scalable and standardized business practices for Customer Screening and Transaction Monitoring aligned to AML and Sanctions policy and external standard processes.
- We drive first line of defense knowledge for Screening and Transaction Monitoring.
- We support our local and group strategic transformational development of relevant systems and processes, ensuring fit with customer journeys.
- We establish critical metrics and measurements for screening and transaction monitoring within the EUI business.
- We collaborate with various teams to enhance business capabilities and develop strategy components.
Customers / Collaborators - We
- Manage multi-faceted relationships with collaborators both internally and externally.
- Establish specific agreed SLAs with collaborators in the design, implementation, and remediation of activity, including regulatory, market, customer requirements, and third-party relationships.
- Build collaboration between group and regional teams, influencing them and building strong relationships to ensure consensus and influencing change outcomes.
- Cultivate and nurture a customer-focused culture, applying our subject matter expertise to consistently identify strategic opportunities with partners in a cost-efficient manner for our business.
Leadership & Teamwork - We
- Support collaboration across our Group and EUI.
- Lead in removing obstacles and aligning with standard methodologies across EUI and our group.
- Improve Customer Screening and Transaction Monitoring by working closely with partners in business capability and transformation.
- Ensure the achievement of specific strategic goals by collaborating with collaborators to develop a profitable and sustainable business where services complement each other instead of competing.
- Act as an SME for the EUI business, influencing change and promoting greater effectiveness in delivery.
- Seek opportunities to integrate, simplify, and streamline EUI business activity through team expertise.
- Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and reflects our EUI brand.
Desired Profile - You
- Have significant experience in the financial/banking sector, with regional exposure and previous experience managing multi-geography teams in Financial Crime.
- Hold a relevant Financial Crime Compliance / Sanctions qualification.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of Sanctions Screening and Transactions Monitoring, and market/industry review for strategy formulation.
- Have proven experience delivering complex regulatory change through to business as usual.
