We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Head of Treasury to take full ownership of our group-wide treasury strategy and execution. The Head of Treasury is a standalone role with no direct reports, responsible for both setting direction and delivering the day-to-day activities required to optimise and protect our global cash and funding position.

With £1bn+ in external debt, international FX exposures, and 15+ global subsidiaries, this is a rare opportunity to build and run the treasury function in a high-growth, private equity-backed business. The Head of Treasury must be comfortable rolling up their sleeves, from preparing detailed cash forecasts to executing FX hedges while engaging senior stakeholders on strategy and risk. 🌍💼

Your Daily Quest: 🌎

End-to-End Treasury Execution

• Personally deliver the full treasury lifecycle from strategic design to operational execution
• Maintain robust daily, weekly, and monthly cash and FX processes using Excel-based tools
• Take personal accountability for reconciliations, calculations, hedge documentation, and cash positioning

Risk & Hedging

• Design and implement FX and interest rate hedging strategies (EUR/USD/GBP)
• Prepare hedge effectiveness models and exposure monitoring reports
• Execute hedging instruments directly and manage associated compliance

Liquidity & Forecasting

• Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts with scenario planning
• Develop liquidity models to support capital allocation decisions
• Drive visibility on interest obligations and upcoming debt maturities

Working Capital & Cash Management

• Identify working capital improvements and implement them hands-on
• Personally manage sweeping and pooling of cash from 15+ international entities
• Execute funding, intercompany transfers, and banking operations directly

Banking & Debt Management

• Maintain and develop global banking relationships
• Ensure compliance with covenants and support refinancing or new facility workstreams
• Prepare and deliver treasury reporting to senior stakeholders and the board

The Secret Sauce: 🍨

• 7+ years' treasury experience, preferably in a multinational or PE-backed group
• Treasury Management Systems (TMS): Demonstrable ability to personally manage operational treasury responsibilities
• Financial Modeling: Advanced skills in financial modeling, including cash flow forecasting, investment analysis, and risk assessment.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and create insightful reports using tools like Excel, and potentially PowerBI, or Tableau. Advanced Excel skills essential
• Foreign Exchange (FX) Management: Knowledge of FX trading platforms and risk management tools.
• Debt Management: Experience with debt management systems and tools.
• Highly Self-Sufficient — thrives in a standalone role with full ownership
• Strong Communicator: Communicates clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders
• Banking Platforms: Experience with online banking platforms and electronic funds transfer systems.
