FSB is also the leading lobbying group in the UK, advocating for the interests of businesses nationwide through our Westminster, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Belfast offices.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position for the Head of Wales role at FSB. The successful candidate will be based in Cardiff, with the opportunity to work from home as appropriate. The Head of Wales will oversee the implementation of strategic plans and policies, represent FSB in external engagements, and work closely with regional agencies and the lobbying team to influence policy at a local and national level. The role involves managing a team, organizing events, and providing leadership to ensure the growth and success of FSB in Wales.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience in business strategy development and implementation
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Knowledge of local and national government and policy-making processes
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Strong organizational and event management skills
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, or related field
