We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Advisor under a CIS contract to join our committed team. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of health and safety across our projects. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on health and safety matters, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety guidance and support to project teams
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety standards
• Perform risk assessments and develop proactive mitigation strategies
• Investigate incidents and near misses, providing recommendations for improvement
• Deliver safety training and workshops to enhance employee awareness and engagement
• Maintain documentation related to health and safety policies, procedures, and records
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement health and safety initiatives
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a health and safety advisory role, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments
• Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and health and safety management software
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent is preferred
