We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Advisor under a CIS contract to join our committed team. Responsibilities
- Provide health and safety guidance and support to project teams
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety standards
- Perform risk assessments and develop proactive mitigation strategies
- Investigate incidents and near misses, providing recommendations for improvement
- Deliver safety training and workshops to enhance employee awareness and engagement
- Maintain documentation related to health and safety policies, procedures, and records
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement health and safety initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a health and safety advisory role, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments
- Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and health and safety management software
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent is preferred
