We are seeking a kind, compassionate, and committed individual to join our Early Years Team as a Healthcare Assistant.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, someone who is positive and enthusiastic, yet calm, aligning with our Christian ethos.
This temporary role is linked to SEND funding and involves supporting our SEND children in the Reception classroom. You will work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, primarily assisting children with additional needs under the supervision of the class teacher. Personal care responsibilities, including intimate care, are integral to this role.
While previous healthcare experience, particularly within the SEN sector, is desired, it is not essential. What truly matters is your attitude and genuine desire to make a difference.
We Are Looking For Someone With
- A passion for working with children with additional needs
- A proactive approach in the classroom and a willingness to engage in class activities
- Energy and enthusiasm, coupled with a positive attitude
- A readiness to undertake personal care responsibilities
- The ability to support children with personalised timetables and provisions
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the EYFS Leader to implement and oversee agreed work programmes for individuals or groups, both in and out of the classroom.

- Pupils who exhibit good behaviour and an eagerness to learn, all within an environment that embodies a continuous strive for improvement
- A happy and caring school community
- An atmosphere filled with humour, warmth, and welcome every day
