Healthcare Assistant– Haematology

We’re looking for a dynamic and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our Cancer Nursing Team at the HCA at UCH currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and one of our specialist cancer centres. Our continued investment allows us to offer the very latest treatments, from our JACIE accredited bone marrow/stem cell transplant service to our newly developed CART T-cell therapy programme which is revolutionising the care we’re able to provide.
As a Healthcare assistant working in the Haematology ward, you’ll be working under the supervision of the clinical team, to assist with nursing, medical and clerical duties in the provision of direct and indirect patient care and associated general duties ensuring an efficient service at all times.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
- Good Clinical Skills in Phlebotomy
- Experience NHS or Private Hospital setting
