The High-Value Corporate Partnerships Lead is part of the Corporate Partnerships team in the wider Fundraising team.

The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with high value corporate partners, generating income or other non-monetary support to assist with securing the long-term sustainability of Citizens Advice; and helping us to solve the underlying cause of problems that our clients face.

This role provides lots of opportunities to gain experience working on different high value projects, as you will manage workstreams bringing significant value to Citizens Advice and its future development. You'll be working closely with the New Business team as they bring on new partners as it will be your role to take the partnership forward and make it a success.

This is a really great opportunity to make Citizens Advice's highest value corporate partnerships your own. You'll have the chance to work both internally and externally to develop new and exciting ways of working and you'll be part of a super supportive and ambitious team.

Apply with your cv and cover letter detailing how you meet the below essential criteria.

  • Proven ability to manage a wide range of projects and partners, and to ensure activities are delivered to deadline.
  • Experience of developing high value partnerships with commercial and corporate organisations across a range of sectors.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen and an ability to identify and manage risks as well as opportunities.
  • Excellent understanding of the markets Citizens Advice operates within, as well as the challenges facing our network.
  • Demonstrable networking, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships/partnerships at all levels in often sensitive situations.

Do you want to work for an organisation that makes a difference, every single day, to people from all walks of life? The people that turn to Citizens Advice need help overcoming an obstacle in their lives – from debt to evictions to trouble at work – and you can be key to them getting the support they need in the quickest, easiest, and most effective way.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is of strategic importance within the organisation and recognised as integral to all we do as a service.

We’re a flexible employer, so this role may suit anyone who’d prefer a flexible arrangement to help their work/life balance, many of our colleagues spend most of their time working remotely. Whilst we prefer a blended approach between a local office, if one is near you, and home we’re open to being flexible on location, occasionally a role may require you to be based in a certain location if that's the case it will be detailed in the advert or job description. This can be discussed in more detail during your interview.

The National Citizens Advice Operates from offices in England and Wales, with 4 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Leeds, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.

Please be aware that Citizens Advice is not a sponsoring organisation. Therefore the successful applicant must already possess the right to work in the UK or be able to secure the right to work in the UK independently.
