An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Community Occupational therapy team, specialising in equipment and adaptations.
Experienced and confident in your decision making, you will be required to support the Team Lead to ensure effective and timely day to day management of the Community Occupational Therapy Team. A strong leader, you will be adept at applying a motivational and coaching approach to leading junior team members. Using well-honed organisational and prioritising skills to ensure all individual team members are supported in the best way for them.

You will support the Team Lead to ensure effective and timely day to day management of the Community Occupational Therapy Team.
You will hold a caseload of patients with complex and challenging needs.
You will ensure local and national policies / guidelines and protocols are adhered to within the team.
You will be responsible for understanding and incorporating evidence base into day to day practice of the team.
You will ensure effective occupational therapy provision for patients is maintained
You will provide advice and education to manage patients with complex needs.
