We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hire Desk Administrator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm on hires and off-hires through internal ticketing systems
- Enter charges for pre-slinging, cleaning, fuel, and damages
- Process WOW report queries
- Perform general administrative tasks including scanning, photocopying, and filing
- Reconcile reports from X Hire Suppliers
- Maintain system administration tasks
- Support the team with any other duties as required
Location: Thurrock (relocating to Barking within the next 12 months)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in a plant hire or construction administration role
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure
Desirable:
- Understanding of construction site operations and plant equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hire management systems such as inspHire
