We have an exciting opportunity for a keen HR Administrator to join our team, to support with the delivery of high quality and efficient HR functions across the organisation.
Our HR Team delivers a range of HR services, covering the full employee life cycle. As HR Administrator, you will help provide a comprehensive HR administration service to the Human Resource team and be a point of contact for all staff and administrative enquiries.
You will also provide proactive and competent support with the HR Information System (HRIS), and ensure the HR Database is up-to-date and accurately maintained.
You will be a committed team player with a demonstrable background of collaborative working, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential, with some familiarity with HR administration and recruitment processes being a bonus.
Requirements:
Perform administrative tasks associated with the recruitment and selection process including but not limited to drafting and posting adverts and scheduling and arranging interviews, and supporting on conducting 1st stage interviews. Responsible for timely communication with all candidates including notifications to unsuccessful candidates and assisting with the preparation of offer paperwork Work with the HR team to ensure that pre-employment checks take place, including references and DBS checks and that all other necessary paperwork is received from new staff and properly recorded and filed. Administer the on boarding and leaver process for staff through the HRIS and JML – adding new staff information and adding leaver information. As well as supporting with the running of HR inductions for new starters. Support in the maintenance and updating of the HRIS to ensure that it contains up to date and accurate information for all current staff and in line with data protection guidelines. Monitor the HR team inbox, ensuring emails are answered in a timely manner escalating as appropriate to the Senior HR Advisor and Head of HRCollaborate with payroll by providing timely updates on new starters, leavers, and contractual changes that affect payroll processing. Collect and organise data for organisational metrics for the Head of HR Understand and uphold the standards outlined in the Hope for Justice Safeguarding policies, acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with our work and reporting concerns if they do arise. Complete the administration for HR activities such as:- Annual performance reviews
- Probation reviews
- DBS Renewals
- Cyclical reporting
- Exit Interview issuing and data collection
- Oversee and maintain the volunteer/ intern system
- Support the wider HR team in reviewing and developing global projects and policies.
- Understand and uphold the standards outlined in the Hope for Justice Safeguarding policies, acting with due care and attention to safeguard the wellbeing of anyone that comes into contact with our work and reporting concerns if they do arise.

Role Details
Job type: Part Time (25 hours per week, 5 hours per day, Monday - Friday)
Salary: Up to £25,000 FTE based on experience
