About The Role
The HR Co-ordinator is responsible for the operational HR service delivery and will pro-actively support and collaborate with the wider HR team in the day-to-day delivery of all aspects of the employee lifecycle. They will operate in a mode of continuous improvement; identifying, making recommendations and implementing changes which enhance the efficiency of HR processes and the employee experience. They will make significant contributions to/have ownership of ad-hoc projects; will be the first point of contact for all colleagues across UCAS for enquiries made to the department and will be responsible for the provision of outstanding customer service. They will be the lead user of the HR System responsible for system administration, first line support, maintenance of accurate records and training colleagues.
Key accountabilities:
- To take accountability for the day-to-day HR service delivery operations. Operating in a mode of continuous improvement to identify, make recommendations and implement changes to enhance operational delivery and customer service.
- To be responsible for the management and development of the HR system (Resourcelink by Zellis)
- To be the designated System Administrator responsible for access, up-grades, issue resolution and day to day contract monitoring with the System Provider for the integrated HR, Payroll and Recruitment service

Skills, qualifications, and experience
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent (qualification or experience)
- Level 3 qualification in HR/Administration or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in providing holistic HR operations services
- In-depth experience of using and maintaining HR systems, ideally in the role of System Administrator
- Previous experience of supervising, developing and mentoring new and junior team members
- Some knowledge of employment law and application of employment policy and practise.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisation and administration skills
- Accurate, logical, with strong attention to detail
- Confident, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Results-orientated, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexible, able to adapt to change/competing deadlines and re-prioritise as needed in order to maximise outputs and customer satisfaction
Package
Salary - circa £40,000.
