About Hinkley Point C
The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.
Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.
What you'll be doing
As a
HR Co-ordinator, you will have the following accountabilities,
- Support the MEH Alliance HR Manager with the provision of day-to-day advice and
guidance to supervision and managers. - Maintain required databases and trackers, providing accurate metrics as
needed. - Assist with the development and updating HR processes and
procedures. - Support the deployment of HR processes and procedures in line with extant
sector agreements in effect on Hinkley Point C, engaging with supervision and
managers to ensure their understanding and approach is aligned. - Assist with GDPR compliance both within the HR team and in the wider project.
- Liaise with MEH Alliance Joint Venture partner HR Teams to work collaboratively.
- Support the development of appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviours
across the business. - Responsible for supporting the completion of annual PDR’s (personal development reviews).
- Ensure annual leave entitlements and balances are in line with MEH Joint
Venture partners, review quarterly and produce metrics. - Monitor absence levels, review quarterly and produce metrics.
- Undertake Project Exit Interviews and produce metrics to highlight areas for
development. - Assisting with Employee Relation cases as they arise.
- Track absences within the project, liaising with MEH Joint Venture partner HR
Teams where necessary.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for,
- Previous HR experience essential
- CIPD Level 3
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to gain a security clearance.
